The top three things you must know about me: I love my family, I love to cook, and I am a no-nonsense kind of person.

My role model is my mother - the most amazing individual I know and the reason why I had a health reawakening.  She is strong, loving, always sincere, passionate about her goals and an all-around fighter. All her life she has dealt with chronic health issues: High Blood Pressure, Heart Disease, Diabetes, and even Cancer. I have always been by her side from the age of 15, taking her to all her medical appointments.

As time passed by, I started to develop the early onset of many of her ailments: high blood pressure, heart issues, and just like 2 out of her 3 pregnancies, I developed gestational diabetes while carrying my son.  My 135 pound, 5’4” pre-pregnancy body weighed 205 pounds when I gave birth to him. I would eventually go down to 185, 175 pounds, but my energy level and body aches would only get worse.

My mother, at the direction of her doctor, saw a nutritionist (with me there of course).  She was prescribed a diet that basically removed all processed foods for 10 days. She immediately said: “I can’t cook like that!”  That was when I stepped in and volunteered to support her by cooking her meals and eating them too – having no idea it would completely transform my life! She took me up on my offer, we passed the 10-day mark, and the results not only for her, myself, my son and my husband (he got on the meal train too) were amazing!

In that process I was able to re-frame the purpose of food in my life, understand how my body works and functions, and learn how to be kind to myself, which brought me to a place of feeling healthy and happy no matter what challenges life threw my way. I began to live my best life, free of headaches, body aches, brain fog, fatigue and I lost over 30 pounds.

Then I decided to take my journey to the next level, by making a career change, so that I could help others feel healthy again. I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition*, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods from leading world experts.

Since graduating, I established a private Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching practice - "EP Health Coaching," to work with people from all walks of life find health, happiness, and balance.

Through my own struggles with multiple diets and workout regiments trying to lose weight and help my family be healthier, I developed a protocol for breaking unhealthy habits, eating too much sugar, snacking, body shaming with healthy habits, like making better food choices, and honoring, respecting, and loving your body and realizing that there was much more to feeling healthy than counting calories and stepping on the scale.

As a coach, I will walk you through my protocol and put the power back in YOUR hands, help you find your true self again, while being there for you every step of the way.
